“JIU” is the Japanese word meaning blessed rains. Abaca plants grown in the environment of blessed rains and leafy lands are the symbol of harmony between human being and nature. We, Fair Plus, are wishing that Abaca handcraft products will enrich the life for the villagers at Malinoa like blessed rains.

“AKE” , originally the Japanese ancient color of scarlet, represents the color of sunrise and the color of sunset leading to tomorrow, as well as the color of fire, culture cultivated by human beings. Further it is the word to be compared to the zeal. Accordingly AKE contains our firm belief that a brighter future will be brought for Japanese traditional Nishijin Textile.
